Prank bingo cards
Every card looks different. But when you play blackout, the whole room shouts BINGO on the same number, and nobody understands how. Print, play, and watch the faces.
How the trick works
A bingo card has 24 numbers and a free square. Every card gets the same 24 numbers, but each number lands in a different spot in its column. Side by side they look like ordinary, different cards.
In a blackout round you need every number on your card. Since every card has the same 24 numbers, they all fill up on exactly the same call, whatever order the numbers come out in. It works with a bingo cage, a phone app or numbers drawn from a hat.
It only works when everyone has a prank card. We tried mixing a few prank cards with normal ones: with a normal cage, a normal card nearly always finishes first.
Ideas
The bride's squad: the whole shower jumps up at once, and the bride has to pick a winner.
The whole family: everyone wins the prize at once. Have one tiny prize ready, and enjoy the argument.
Kids' party: every kid wins, nobody cries. Have a small prize for each of them.
Questions
Will people notice?
Not while playing. The same numbers sit in different places, so the cards look different. Lay two cards side by side and search, and you'll find it. That's the reveal.
Does it work with a normal bingo cage?
Yes. Every card fills up together in a blackout round whatever order the numbers are drawn in. You don't need our caller or any app.
Can I play for money?
No. This is a joke, and the result is fixed. Don't play for money or anything that depends on a fair draw.
Is it free?
