Last Call at Bella's: The Roast of the Groom

Bella runs the bar and roasts the groom. Bingley defends him from stool 3 and loses every case. Bingo, bar classics and jokes about your buddy, on your TV.

$79 per party. One payment. No subscription.

The short version

Last Call at Bella's is a bachelor party game show that plays on your TV. Two AI-voiced hosts, Bella and Bingley, call bingo numbers, roast the groom with jokes based on your answers, and play bar classics from YouTube between calls. You read and approve the full script before anything is recorded, and you can let the groom win the last round. Pick 45, 60, 75 or 90 minutes; three rounds: one line, two lines, then the full card. Works with a laptop, a TV and a phone. One price per party, no subscription, with a party guarantee.

Build a roast

The order form asks things a good friend knows. Say yes to one of these about Jake and here's what Bella does with it.

  1. Q1

    Is Jake always running late?

  2. Q2

Does Jake think he's a grill master?

  3. Q3

Does Jake dance even though he can't?

What Bella does with a yes

Bella · Voice coming soon N-37. That's how many minutes late Jake will be to his own wedding. Relax. We gave him a fake start time.
Bella · Voice coming soon Jake calls himself a grill master. The smoke alarm calls him by his first name.
Bella · Voice coming soon If you see Jake on the dance floor looking like he's stomping out a small fire, relax. That's just how he dances.

How the roast gets written

You answer. 14 yes-or-no questions about the groom, one multiple-choice question and six blanks. Is he always running late? Does he think he's a grill master? Does he dance even though he can't? You know the answers. So does everyone else.

We write. At least 10 personal jokes about your buddy, plus Bella and Bingley's own material. The roast goes after his habits and his big plans. Never his body, his money, his background or the bride.

You approve. Before anything is recorded, you get the full script on a web page. Approve a line, cut it or rewrite it. The groom sees nothing until Bella says his name.

Who wins?

Keep it random, or let the groom win the last round. Pick it when you order. His card carries his name, and in the last round it fills up right on time.

You decide who wins. Nobody will know. Especially not Jake.

How the night goes

  1. 9 PM, doors open. Bella opens the bar, puts the groom's name on the chalkboard and explains the rules. Bingley introduces himself as counsel for the defense.
  2. Round 1: one line. The bar warms up, Bella's jokes get sharper, and Bingley starts objecting.
  3. Round 2: two lines. Full bar. The loudest sing-alongs, the most desperate defense.
  4. Round 3: the full card. After midnight the tone gets warmer, and at last call Bella says what everyone was thinking: the bride is the best decision he ever made.
  5. Pick the length when you order: 45, 60, 75 or 90 minutes. The three rounds stay the same; a longer show adds more songs and more roast. Between songs, Bella calls one, two or three numbers at a time, sometimes a longer run with no song in between.

The jukebox

Bella's jukebox plays four sets, in the order of the night: bar classics, the sing-alongs from his high school years, bar country, and the big closing sing-alongs.

The videos play from YouTube on your laptop, at your party, in their own panel on the screen.

Questions, answered

Will the groom actually get offended?

Not if you don't want him to. The roast sticks to his habits and plans, never his body, money, background or the bride. You approve, cut or rewrite every line before anything is recorded, and Bingley takes most of the hits anyway.

Isn't bingo kind of a grandma thing?

Bingo is the excuse. The show is a roast with a scoreboard, a jukebox and a bartender who doesn't miss.

Can I let the groom win?

Yes. Choose the groom, someone else or random when you order. The chosen card wins the last round.

Can we play in a room or venue we rented?

Yes, for a private party with your own guests, including in a space you rent. Not for public or ticketed events, and not for a business entertaining its customers.

How do the songs work? Do I need YouTube Premium?

No Premium needed. The songs play from YouTube in their own panel on the screen. Without Premium, YouTube may show an ad first; the show waits up to five seconds and then moves on to the next song.

How many guys can play?

From 2 to 60 players, and up to 40 can have their first name on a card and in the show.

What if someone doesn't show?

On the remote, you switch off whoever isn't there before the start or after each round. If the planned winner is missing, the show picks another winner.

Can we play for prizes?

Prizes are up to you. No betting and no cash prizes.

What happens to what I tell you about the groom?

We use it only to write your show. Your answers, the jokes and the guest list are deleted 30 days after the party.

Is Bella real?

No. Bella and Bingley are AI voices. The roast is written from your answers, and you approve every line.
