Privacy Policy
Version 2.2, October 27, 2026. If we change this policy we post the new date here and email you about material changes.
Who is responsible
Tradebrite B.V. (trading as Bingo Bingley), Schoolstraat 4, 2242 KH Wassenaar, the Netherlands, Chamber of Commerce no. 77750918, email hello@bingobingley.com.
What we use, why, and on what basis
- Your email address (the order form does not ask for your name; Stripe passes on the billing details needed for the invoice): to fulfill your order, send your link, a reminder before your party and a short "how did it go?" email afterwards (contract). We keep your invoice for seven years for bookkeeping (legal obligation).
- Your party date: so your link works on the right day (contract).
- First names of the birthday kid, bride or guests: to record them and print them on the cards (contract with you; for the people named, our legitimate interest in delivering the show you ordered). Please enter only first names of people who are happy to be named in the show. Our website and checkout are for adults: for a children's party the parent or organizer enters the children's names, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
- What you tell us about the bride, groom or other guest of honor (the order form questions and story for the personal jokes): to write jokes. Basis: our legitimate interest in delivering the show you ordered; for you as the buyer it is also part of the contract. The person it is about gets this data from you, not from them: please tell them, or leave it out. Please do not tell us anything about health, religion, sexuality or criminal matters, and no surnames, addresses or phone numbers.
- A show log per order (whether the setup check worked, when the show started, which songs failed): to help you and to assess the party guarantee (legitimate interest).
- Unsubscribes: if you opt out of our emails, we keep a record of that so we do not email you again (legal obligation and legitimate interest).
- Payment details are handled by Stripe; we never see your card number.
How long
- We delete your order details, the link to your guests' names, anything you tell us about the bride or groom and the personal jokes 30 days after your party; if the party doesn't happen, at the latest one year after the order.
- A recording of just a first name in a generic line (such as "Bingo for Emma!") is kept for reuse. It is no longer linked to you, your party or your email address.
- Deleted data can remain in our database backups for a limited time.
Who else sees data
- ElevenLabs creates the voices. They only receive the lines to be recorded (first names, and with the personal jokes package those jokes), never your email address, your name as the buyer or other order details.
- AI text services (such as Anthropic) write and check the personal jokes. They also never receive the buyer's email address or name.
- Stripe processes payments.
- Cloudflare hosts the website, the show and storage, and counts visits without cookies.
- Our email provider sends the emails.
- YouTube: see below.
Your information is processed in the Netherlands and by the providers above in the EU and the United States.
YouTube
Bingo Bingley uses YouTube API Services: the embedded player and a check on whether songs are still available. By using the show you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service; how Google handles data is described in the Google Privacy Policy. The player only loads when you click "Load the song" or a song starts in the show, using YouTube's privacy-enhanced player (youtube-nocookie.com); YouTube may then store data on your device. We only keep your show progress (on our side, linked to your link) so a reload costs nothing; it is deleted with your other order details.
U.S. residents
We do not sell your personal information and do not share it for cross-context advertising. You may ask to access, correct or delete your data by emailing hello@bingobingley.com; we will not discriminate against you for asking and we respond within 45 days. Do Not Track: we do not track you across other websites, and our site does not change its behavior on Do Not Track signals. We run no advertising on the show page.
Your rights (EU and UK)
You can ask which data we hold about you, and ask us to correct, delete or transfer it, or object to use based on legitimate interest. Email us; we respond within one month. You can complain to your data protection authority (in the Netherlands: the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
